Nicolas Joaquin Vasquez Schaer

Bachelor of Laws graduated Summa Cum Laude and specialized in Corporate Law from the Universidad Privada Boliviana. Master´s Degree in Law from the University of Tulane (United States of America), which he attended as a Fulbright Scholar. He also graduated with Distinction and has a Master´s Degree in International Maritime Law offered by the Institute of International Maritime Law (Malta).

During 2016, he completed an internship in the New Orleans office of Fishman Haygood LLP, where he participated in complex international litigation. Similarly, in 2013 he was an intern at the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (Hamburg), putting his knowledge in international law into practice.

Associate at Wayar & von Borries since 2016. Nicolas has significant experience in international arbitration under the UNCITRAL and ICSID rules, Commercial/Corporate Law, International Commercial Law and Maritime Law.

 

He has been invited as a teacher in the International Diplomatic Academy and Universidad Privada Boliviana to teach the courses of Public and Private International Law, Comparative Law and Maritime Law.
