Attorney-at-law, graduated from the Universidad Católica Boliviana “San Pablo,” with honors in the
defense of his Bachelor’s Thesis. Holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and Integration from
the Postgraduate Program in Development Sciences (CIDES) at the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés,
and is currently a scholarship holder in the Master’s program in International Relations and Diplomacy
at the Plurinational Diplomatic Academy of Bolivia. He obtained a Diploma in Corporate Compliance
from the Universidad “Franz Tamayo” and completed the specialized program in Trade Diplomacy at the
Plurinational Diplomatic Academy of Bolivia.

He has solid training and experience in Corporate and Commercial Law, Compliance, Private
International Law, Administrative and Regulatory Law, Property Law, as well as Privacy and Data
Protection.
He has advised and represented national and international clients in sectors such as
telecommunications, technology, hydrocarbons, mining and energy (lithium), and construction. His
practice includes corporate compliance advisory for the implementation of compliance policies, business
best practices, anti-corruption measures, and internal investigations. His expertise is further
complemented by experience in high-profile dispute resolution, administrative proceedings, and judicial
litigation.
Before joining Wayar & von Borries, Cristhian developed his professional career at leading law firms in
Bolivia, served as in-house corporate counsel at Huawei Technologies Bolivia S.R.L., and worked in the
International Legal Affairs Unit of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, gaining experience in international
legal cooperation.
